Winter will soon be over and parks will be full of joggers again. For those who take workouts seriously Fitbit offers some new products including Bluetooth-connected band and a pulse-monitoring band.
Charge is Bluetooth-connected and constantly measures heartbeat without any additional uncomfortable equipment. The gadget allows preventing extreme fatigue as well as controlling overall body condition. Like Fitbit’s other fitness trackers, it records such stats as steps, distances, calories burnt and floors climbed.
Another Fitbit’s introduction is Surge that has a full set of different features: an ambient light sensor, altimeter, GPS tracking, and optional heart rate monitor. The gadget has already been named a “fitness smartwatch” due to its multifunction nature. There is also an opportunity of connecting Surge to the user’s iPhone to check caller ID, read messages, and switch music. Charging takes just one to two hours and you won’t have to think about it for up to seven days.
